General Job Summary: This is a federally-funded 3 day/2 night STEM Camp Counselor position June 6 – June 8, 2023. Approximately 70 students from area middle schools will be housed on the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. A total of six camp counselors will be hired to work with middle school students, college faculty, and Talent Search staff. Counselors will help lead/supervise students during academic and social activities. In addition, the Counselors will be responsible for the students on a 24-hour basis from Tuesday until Thursday evening when the camp ends.

 Salary: $600

 Fringe Benefits: Dorm housing and all meals provided during the camp.
Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Current college student or graduate with prior camp counselor or experience working with youth preferred. Must have valid driver's license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance.

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
