General Job Summary:

The instructor is responsible for teaching full-time classes on the Spencer campus as defined by the College. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures. Teaching assignments will include a combination of face-to-face classes, occurring during day and evening classes, as well as teaching using multiple modalities (online, etc.). May be required to teach and travel between sites utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance.

 

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed massage therapist with valid Iowa license or ability to obtain before hiring. Licensed massage therapist with three years (6,000 hours) experience in private or group practice. Educational or teaching experience preferred.
