Farm to Fork FUNdraiser

Farm to Fork FUNdraiser

The Clay County Fair Charitable Trust will host the 3 rd Annual Farm to Fork FUNdraiser at the Clay County Fair & Events Center on Thursday, April 18 th . The event will feature a four-course meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients, musical entertainment provided by Ryan Sather, auctions, a quilt raffle, and a 50/50 raffle.

The Farm to Fork FUNdraiser will begin with Social Hour at 5:30 PM, and Dinner will follow at 6:30 PM. The Live Auction will start at 7:30 PM, and the night will end with Dessert at 8:30 PM.

The meal, which our own Chef Eric will prepare, will consist of four courses using ingredients sourced from local producers. Those producers will be present at the event and share how they work diligently to provide healthy, safe, locally-grown food items. The menu for the event includes Smoked Bacon Mac & Cheese, Chopped Salad, Glazed Pork Chop, and Apple Bread Pudding. For dietary restrictions, please call the Fair Office at (712) 580-3000.

The event's fundraising component will include live and silent auctions, a quilt raffle, and a 50/50 raffle. The quilt that will be raffled off was made from quilt squares that exhibitors entered for the 2023 Fair Competition. The live auction will highlight a one-of-a-kind Clay County Fair commissioned painting by Ben Schuh. The commissioned artwork will be featured exclusively on the live auction. The silent auction is available online, and potential bidders do not need to attend the event to participate in the silent auction.

Providing entertainment again for the event will be local favorite Ryan Sather.

Complete event information, including the meal’s ingredients, a listing of live auction items, and a link to the online silent auction, can be found at https://claycountyfair.com/entertainment/in-house-events/farmtofork/.
