General Job Summary: This is a full-time position located on the Estherville Campus. The Director of Music & Performing Arts is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Music Programs including music instruction and performances, recruitment of instrumental and vocal music students, monitoring the academic progress of all music students, promotion of music students to four-year institutions, oversight of the Performing Arts Center, and management of budgets within the program.

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the Unites States without employer sponsorship.

  $71,100 for a 260-day contractSalary:

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree required with preferred fields in education and/or music. Three to five years of experience in collegiate level music instruction or teaching preferred. Three to five years of experience in performing arts facility management preferred.
