General Job Summary: This is a part-time (27.5 hrs/week) position located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities are to coordinate and teach CNA classes and assist with other related courses and testing. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and work with minimal supervision. Some evening and weekend hours will be required. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. 

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Current unrestricted Iowa RN license required. Associate Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years (6,000 hours) experience in nursing field or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. (Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred). Nurse Aid Train the Trainer required (or willingness to complete upon hire). At least 1 year Long Term Care experience preferred. Teaching experience preferred. CPR Instructor certification or willingness to complete is beneficial.
