The
Quality / HACCP Technician has to be flexible and able to adjusts work
procedures/hours to meet testing schedules, production needs, and customer
requests including all facility audits.
The
employee must be able to apply mathematical skills to include and not be
limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Practical use of computer programs such as
Microsoft Office, and inventory management programs may apply. Use reasoning obtained from their knowledge
and training to perform their job and problem solve without direct supervision.
The
Quality / HACCP Technician have the final responsibility for completing and/or
verifying of the following tasks.
=
In process product testing required by
government agencies, customers, auditors, and /or facility requirements.
=
Final product testing and/or outside lab
preparation as required by government agencies, customers, auditors, and /or
facility requirements.
=
Completes daily of all CCP’s, SSOP’s, SOP’s,
GMP’s, and any other applicable program monitoring. Verification will be a combination of records
review and direct observation.

The
employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel,
crouch, or crawl.

The
employee must regularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift
and or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific
visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
=
The
work environment characteristic described here is typical and or representative
of what the employee may encounter during the work shift.

Exposures
to temperatures of an average of 38 to 28 degrees depending on the work
assignment.

The
employee may encounter wet floors or a damp area during the work shift

employment and encouraged to inform management of any perceived safety
deficiencies.
