McCreary's Creative Catering in Spencer, IA is looking for waitresses to join our team. We are located on the Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

First and foremost, we are looking to fill a full-time, mostly-daytime position. We also have part-time day and evening positions available. Weekend hours are possible as well when we have catering or food truck jobs.

In addition to your base pay, all staff members receive a cut of the daily tips, free meal when you work a 4-hour shift or longer, and free drinks.  

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers entering and leaving the business
  • Take orders
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Accurately process all cash and credit payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Able to work scheduled shifts and have reliable transportation
  • May have to help with dishes or other kitchen prep work


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Unrestricted license and clean driving record preferred
Location

We are located at The Dock on the Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. We are family-owned and our business includes the restaurant, a food truck, and full-service catering.

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30a-8p, at our store-front location. Hours for other locations are dependent on individual jobs.
