MaxYield Cooperative is a leading agricultural cooperative providing innovative solutions to our clients in Northwest Iowa. We’re seeking the right professional to lead the efforts of SciMax Solutions, our precision ag and data management division in MaxYield’s West Area, which includes the greater Spencer, Okoboji, Superior, Estherville, and Jackson (MN) areas. Base location is flexible within this region.
As a SciMax Solutions Specialist you’ll help farmers capture real value from their crop data and maximize their yields and profits. You will help clients take the guesswork out of soil fertility decisions, create variable rate planting prescriptions and create nitrogen plans that can reduce rates and maintain yields. The ability to use analytics to manage data complexity and help our clients make confident agronomic decisions is a must.
It is vitally important that you are team-oriented, have proficient technology skills plus strong communication, negotiation, leadership and networking skills. You’ll need a Bachelor of Science degree plus work experience in agronomy sales and/or precision ag practices (3+ years). Preference will be given to candidates who have past precision agriculture and data management experience.
