Fridley Theatres is seeking part-time Bartenders for The Palms Theatres Southpark in Spencer, IA. The Palms Theatres Southpark is undergoing a remodel that will include a limited-service kitchen and bar. The restaurant and bar will be open daily for guests attending movies in one of the 9 auditoriums upgraded to luxury recliners, plus shoppers and employees of the Southpark Mall.

The Bartender position will be required to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Maintaining a positive attitude to form a friendly environment for guests and other team members and excellent customer service is essential. 

Essential Functions/Job Duties:      

-Welcome guests as they enter the theatre lobby, approach counter and those that are seated at the bar.  

-Maintain company standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, and overall department profitability.  

-Take, transmit, and deliver orders correctly.  

-Serve bottled beer, draft beer, wine, and cocktails.  

-Follow recipes to mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.  

-Knowledge of the menu and ability to make suggestions, answer drink preparation questions.  

-Follow all safety and alcohol beverage control policies.  

-Maintain a clean work area and bar countertop.  

-Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.  

-May perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
